    As a child, I am so luck. I don t need to worry about food. I always have enough delicious food, live in a big house, and have beautiful clothes to dress. I am so happy that I have no idea to treasure all these things. I am a kind of particular about food. I often eat a little for one dish and the throw it away, because I have many choices. I will be full after eating several dishes. But one day, I watch a piece of news on TV. It is about some Africa children who are suffering starvation. They are so poor. They are not only having no food to eat but also having little water to drink. A bowl of rice is very rare for them. Seeing their longing eyes, I feel guilty. I am regret about wasting food before. How can I waste so much rare food? From now on, I will try my best to save food, to do something for them.



    Nobody knows what time is like, for we cannot see it, nor can we touch it.

    Time is abstract, which we can only imagine in our mind.

    But we do know that time passes very quickly. Some students, however, do not know the value of time, nor do they know how to make the best use of it, for they waste it in going to films, playing games and doing other useless things.Why do we go to school early in the morning? Why do trains run so fast? Why do most people prefer taking buses instead of walking? The answer is very simple: we wish to save time because time is precious.

    Today we are living in the twentieth century. We know that time is life.

    When a person dies, his time has ended.Since life is short, we must devote our time and energy to our studies so that we may be able to serve our country and the people. But since time is invisible, we often neglect it. Lazinss. is the thief of time, for lasiness not only brings us a lot of harm, it also brings us failure.     Ludwig van Beethoven was a typical hero in the strife . He was not only one of the greatest composers, but also one of the most persevering men. As a deaf man, he went on working with his strong will in the last year of his life, though he was not able to hear his own fine and original music. Another example of persistence in struggle is Deng Yaping. She once said that her technique came from continuous training, emphasizing the importance of daily practice to a player.

    As a student, I seem to be in a boat sailiug against the current. I must make an effort to forge ahead. A little carelessness will result in being driven back. Indeed, learning is a struggle against idleness and carelessness. Following the examples of Ludwig van Beethoven and Deng Yaping, I shall take great pains to urge myself on, moving steadily forward like a heroic boatman in the rough sea of knowledge.

    It s a film about how the ship Titanic sank into the sea. It is very exciting. But I was more interested in the stars of the film, Jack and Rose s story. We can learn some deeper things from it.

    After the ship hit an iceberg and sank into the sea. Jack and Rose, and many other people fell into the cold sea water. As the weather was getting colder and colder, they were stepping into death. Jack still asked Rose to promise him not to give up the hope of life. At last, Jack was dead, but Rose had a narrow escape, because she listened to Jack and didn t give up.

    Really? It seems so hard to believe, you may think.

    Maybe once there were many successes just behind you, and if you hadn t given up, you would catch them easily. But you lost them, because you didn t hold on.

    So never give up, even though there are many more difficult things waiting for you. Just face them heroically, and you will surely win.


    What is the most important thing in the world? I think it is health.

    You can take away our money, house, car, or even our clothes and we can survive. But if our health was taken away, we would surely die. That is why we always try to eat in a healthy way and exercise regularly.

    In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eating food high in fat, like French fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins.

    Taking exercise every day helps us build a strong body. Regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy.

    What s more, I think friends are an important part of one s health. Many studies show that people with a wide range of social contacts get sick less than those who don t. I always feel better when I am with friends than when I am alone. When I am with my friends, I always laugh. Laughing is also an important part of health. I like to laugh with my friends.

    By eating properly and exercising regularly, I can keep my body at a proper weight and keep healthy. By spending time with my friends, I can keep my mind as well as my body happy. these things sound easy to do, but not many people can manage them. I think a strong will is necessary if we want to keep healthy.
